San Marcos Farms :
This is quality honey. We have chosen Sage honey because this is the best option with having non-chemical-originated honey. This sage honey is made in the foothills of the Los Padres National Forest. This means that it's a non-certified organic honey - but better, just plain natural honey. Enjoy

Like BD likes to say: “Eat weeds!”

I've always loved this unique farm. Educational, non-profit, always great people that works there. I know them personally; Chava manages the fields, Cesar is not only a great friend but a very passionate farmer. I worked there and learned tremendously. Micheal Ableman pointed me in the right directions about quality control, market philosophy and other aspect of farming.
If you wish to support a farm directly by joining their CSA, and that you live near Goleta, fairview avenue, this is the one to join. They have been obligated by the city after the cause was voted for, to rebuilt all their housing. This was unexpected but necessary to persue their activities. You can VISIT the farm from 10 am to 6 pm and not when its wet or raining. Take a brochure when you walk near the stand. You can also support them by stopping time to time and buy extra items you need.... Then walking the field.
